My family and I have a Christmas tree right next to our home, and the trees are beautiful. The homes where we live are quite different than most of the homes in the suburbs. Most of the homes there are two story stucco houses with lots of asphalt. Our homes have lots of cedar shingles and old growth pine trees on the outside and on the inside there are large green trees that are trimmed with ferns and ivy. The neighborhood is very gated and has a lot of very nice cars parked in the driveways leading up to our homes as well as many large boats.
One of the interesting things I have noticed about people when they visit our homes and look at the Christmas trees is how many of them have never even seen free Christmas trees. It is amazing how many people spend a few dollars shopping at Lowes or Home Depot only to come home and throw all of their money into a giant tree house ornaments box. I guess that is what people think they will get for spending a few dollars. What I suggest you do is take a trip down to your local garden store and check out the varieties that are available.
Some of the best decorative items for your Christmas trees are things like glass bowl decorative items, things like Christmas lights, and things like artificial or real flowers. Most of the people who visit my home end up buying one or more of the things above. If you go down to your local garden store, you can also find some of the things that I have mentioned above. You should visit your local garden store early in December if you want to get all of the decorative items that I have talked about here in January.
