The Griswold Christmas Vacation Movie Review

A Christmas Vacation is a family-oriented movie that is a great addition to any list of holiday movies. As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold(Chevy Chase), yearns to have an absolutely perfect family Christmas, but as he attempts to ensure everything is in place, he runs into road blocks. His hicks neighbor, Eddie (Quaid) and his equally rich family show up unexpectedly and begin living in their tiny camper on the Griswold estate. Everything goes pear shaped from the start, until Clark decides to surprise his family with an impromptu family vacation to his relatives cottage in Catskill New York. Everything goes horribly wrong, and when Clark discovers what has gone wrong, he rallies his entire family to get back to basics while preparing for his next family Christmas.

Charlie Brown is an estranged cub who longs to escape his everyday routine of sharing his father’s office with his classmates at school. When a news anchor tells him that there has been a Christmas prank call linking him to a woman, Charlie’s world instantly explodes. He chases after the woman across the country, finally catching her in a mall where she attacks him. While Charlie’s life is in disarray, his best friend, Kimberly (Diane Lane), becomes his only companion. Their reunion in a nearby park prompts a gift from Santa (John Candy), but will it solve all of Charlie’s problems or create new ones?
